Frost Your Fanny 5K Timed Run, beginning 5 p.m. Saturday, Elmer Thomas Park. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m. Registration $30 for ages 14 and older, $25 for ages 13 and younger.

Holiday in the Park Parade: Candyland, 6 p.m. Saturday. Parade begins in downtown Lawton and ends in Elmer Thomas Park, Northwest 3rd Street and Northwest Ferris Avenue and is the official kickoff of the Holiday in the Park display. Lights and activities nightly through Jan. 1. Free admission, but donations accepted. Some activities have a fee.

Third Saturday reading, with guest reader Roseanna Alice Recchia, 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Unitarian Universalist Church, 816 W. Gore. Free admission.
