Voters in Comanche County offered a high turnout Tuesday, coupled with over 7,000 early in-person absentee voters last week, made for a vigorous general election with multiple high-stakes offices and questions, both state and local, up for grabs.

State Question 833 to allow municipalities to create public infrastructure districts when all property owners within the proposed district sign a petition, giving those districts the authority to issue bonds for public improvements: Yes, 554,400; No, 890,329.
State Question 834 to amend the State Constitution to specify that only a citizen (rather than every citizen) of the U.S. may vote in elections: Yes, 1,196,203; No, 285,445.
