A fatal pedestrian incident with a privately owned trash truck on Lawton’s south side Thursday morning is under investigation.
The incident happened early in the morning in the area of Southwest 20th Street and Lee Boulevard, according to Lt. Charles Whittington, Lawton Police Department information officer. The identity of the pedestrian killed and the waste disposal company have not been released.
The incident is under investigation by the LPD Traffic Division, Whittington said. More information will be released when available.
