Six young ladies will be vying for the title of Little Miss Rainbow of Stars, at the 23rd annual pageant set for Sept. 28.
The pageant will begin at 7 p.m. in the Albert Johnson Sr. Conference Center, 91 NE Maine. Tickets are $10 in advance from members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, or $15 at the door on the night of the pageant.
The pageant is sponsored each year by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Theta Upsilon Omega Chapter. Gwendolyn Monts said the six contestants will be judged on poise, talent and sportswear, while also showing off their dancing skills during the pageant’s opening number.
Contestants for the 2024 pageant are: Leah Dewberry, Lyric Dorsey, Zeleah Locklin, KyMya Porche’, Raelynn Sides and Jurnee Timms.
