Cowboy Church in Apache is having its 5th annual Cowboy Sunday at 10 a.m. September 15 at 15513 US Highway 62.
Singer-songwriter Dan Roberts from Aledo, Texas, will be a guest speaker at the event, according to a press release. Roberts will speak at 10 a.m. about Family, Faith and Freedom. He has spent more than 25 years in the music business and has teamed up with artists such as Neal McCoy, Garth Brooks and others.
At noon, there will be a free BBQ meal by Elgin’s Native Smoke, the release said. In the afternoon, there will be music, cowboy stories and poetry by invited artists such as Danny Steagall, Steve Story, Dale Burson, Larry Able, Kevin Davis, Straw Berry and Jay Snider.
Everything will be held inside and will also have refreshments throughout with pony rides for the kids.
