CACHE — An 84-year-old Cache man died following a Friday afternoon investigators said was caused by the front tire failure of his grain truck.
James M. Cooper died from his injuries at the scene of the wreck near the intersection of Southwest Coombs Road and Oklahoma 115, 4 miles south of Cache, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Cooper was driving a Ford grain truck southbound on Oklahoma 115 around 12:30 p.m. Friday when his driver’s side front tire blew out, causing him to go off the road.
