Kick up your stand and rev your throttle because it’s time to hit the road on your motorcyle.
But, first, take in a quick class to hone your two-wheeled skills.
The Lawton Police Department’s Motorcycle Division is hosting a free motorcycle school from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Dillard’s parking lot at Central Plaza, 200 SW C. Registration is required and there are just a few spots open.
Requirements are a valid “L” endorsed driver’s license, a street legal motorcycle, insurance, a helmet, gloves, eye protection, a long-sleeved shirt and boots covering the ankle.
This is the fourth free motorcycle class this summer offered by the Lawton Police Department and is the only one like this in Southwest Oklahoma.
To register, contact Sgt. Tanner Josey, [email protected]; or call (580) 581-3270 ext. 3186.
