Applications continue to be taken for Monday’s beginning of the Lawton Police Department’s Junior Citizens Police Academy.
Sessions are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through July 12 at Lawton First Assembly, 2201 NW 82nd. All sessions are free and lunch will be provided.
Any child between the ages of 12-18 and still in school may attend.
There will be live demonstrations and hands-on learning with topics to include: SWAT Team, K-9, dive team, bike patrol, traffic division and crime scene investigation.
