MOORE — U.S. Congressman Tom Cole released the following statement upon winning Tuesday’s primary election for the Fourth Congressional District of Oklahoma seat.
“I want to start by thanking the Republicans of the Fourth District of Oklahoma for nominating me to represent them as their candidate for Congress in the November general election. It is an honor and a privilege to represent the Fourth Congressional District of Oklahoma and fight for our shared conservative Oklahoma values and priorities in the U.S. House of Representatives. I look forward to making my case for re-election to the entire electorate in the fall campaign.
I additionally thank President Donald Trump for his trust and full support and look forward to working hand in glove with his team to ensure a victory this November. From securing the southern border, to reducing the harmful effects of inflation on Oklahoma families, and strengthening our military to confront a dangerous world, our number one goal must be defeating the Biden Administration and his allies in the Senate and House at the ballot box this November.
If I am fortunate enough to win the November election, the voters of the Fourth District can count on me to fight for a safer and stronger America by working to increase pay for our military men and women, investing in medical and weather research, and in securing our border. My top priority will always be representing the views, the values, and the interests of the people of my district and of the state of Oklahoma.”
