A Texas man was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital following a Saturday morning single-vehicle wreck south of Lawton.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Jorge Prado-Utrera, 31, of Dallas, Texas, was taken Comanche County Memorial Hospital and then transferred to OU Medical Center where he was admitted in stable condition with head injury.
Prado-Utrera was driving eastbound on Southwest Baseline Road when he went off the asphalt roadway to the left and struck a concrete barrier 4 miles south of Lawton, Trooper Luke Norton reported. The driver was not wearing his seatbelt.
The trooper reported sleepy driving as the collision’s cause.
