Allegations she stole over $7,000 worth of lottery tickets over a six-month period has a former convenience store employee wanted by law enforcement.
The Comanche County District Court issued a felony arrest warrant for Marlee Ann Duval, 29, of Lawton, for a count of embezzlement, records indicate. She faces up to five years in prison, a fine up to $5,000 and restitution if convicted.
Lawton Police Detective Brandon Becker stated Duval worked for Glenn Oil Company at Mark’s Convenience store, 3620 E. Lee, between Sept. 5, 2023, to April 30. The company accountant discovered approximately $7,077 worth of tickets missing from between her start and end date of employment, according to the detective.
Duval is accused of stealing lottery tickets, scratchers and online lotto cards from the store and cashing out the winners at a different location, the warrant affidavit states.
After making her initial court appearance Friday, Duval is free on $2,000 bond.
