Cache softball falls in state semis; Cache girls soccer ousted

Cache girls came up with a first-round victory over Broken Bow Tuesday in the Class 4A slow-pitch softball state tournament but in the semifinals later in the afternoon Washington came up with an 11-3 victory to end the season for the Bulldogs.

Tuesday night the Cache girls soccer team saw its season come to a close with a 4-0 loss to Weatherford in a first-round match in the Class 4A girls soccer state tournament.

Monday MacArthur boys saw their season come to an end as Oklahoma City Southeast earned a 5-0 victory Monday. At Halliburton Stadium in Duncan, the Lady Demons knocked off Oklahoma City Southeast, 1-0, with Katelin Ramirez scoring on a breakaway goal with two minutes remaining. After that the Demons were able to keep possession and run out the clock to advance to Thursday’s second round against Holland Hall. That match will begin at 7 p.m.
