Lawton Fire Chief Jared Williams has been elected third vice president of the Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Board.
The election came at the Oklahoma Fire Chiefs Association’s recent annual conference. Each member of the five-member board serves a one-year term.
“I am excited and humbled to be selected to be on the board,” Williams said in a statement. “I can’t wait to get started, and I look forward to learning from the existing board members.”
The board meets annually, with the 2028 conference planned for Lawton.
