Lawton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver who struck a pedestrian and drove away.
The collision happened around 8:40 p.m. Wednesday around Northwest 50th Street and Cache Road, according to Sgt. Christopher Blessing, Lawton Police Department information officer. The vehicle involved failed to stop and fled.
The injured pedestrian was admitted to an Oklahoma City hospital with serious bodily injuries, according to Blessing..
“We have very limited information at this time, so if anyone has any information pertaining to this collision please contact the Lawton Police Department at 580-581-3272,” he said.
