It is pretty obvious that spring is in the air and folks are ready to get outdoors and hit the golf course as following Richard Jacoby’s ‘back nine’ reference in last week’s Color Pin event, Gary Sammons, Early Birds Secretary, says “Steve Mans would have liked a Mulligan the first frame of the first game in last Monday’s session.”
Mans left a solid 10-pin to start the night and proceeded to take strikes off the sheet for a 290 score and 11 in a row bragging rights but a Mulligan might have been nice.
By the way, we don’t have those in bowling but Mans saved the set with added games of 223 and 192 to sum up the league’s only 700 series of 705.
