Active duty and military veterans will be able to ride Lawton’s mass transit system for free, beginning April 1.
LATS officials announced this week that all active duty and veterans of the Armed Forces will be allowed to ride all fixed route, para-transit service and Fort Sill shuttle service without charge, starting Monday.

LATS is the public transportation system that has been serving Lawton for more than 20 years, offering hourly fixed route service Monday through Saturday, and para-transit service. The system is managed by HTG — Lawton Management LLC.
