ANADARKO — Voting for the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma’s general election is slated for Saturday.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., said Raquel Wildes, election board secretary.
Polling sites will be located at the Apache Tribe AOA Building in Anadarko, the Bohart Building in Apache and the Fort Cobb Community Building in Fort Cobb.
Candidates are:
•Chairman: Durrell Cooper and Kevin Rivera;
•Vice Chairman: Matthew Tselee, Christopher Whitewolf and Crystal Pewo-Lightfoot;
•Secretary/Treasurer: Ruth Wetselline Bert and Dustin Cozad;
•Committee Member: Donald Komardley, Amber Archilta, Angel Carattini, and Felepia Banderas.
To be eligible to vote, voters must be members of the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma and at least 18 years of age on the day of the election.
Each voter must have a valid identification which is issued by the Apache Tribe of Oklahoma, Oklahoma driver’s license or a state identification card, Wildes said.
