DUNCAN — An arrest warrant was issued Monday for a Lawton woman accused of dealing methamphetamine in Stephens County.
The Stephens County District Court issued a felony arrest warrant Monday for Kathryn Suzanne Cummings, 62, for a count of trafficking meth, records indicate. The crime is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
The charge against Cummings stems from a September 2022 controlled drug buy.
District 6 Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force Chief Investigator Justin Scott stated a controlled drug buy was set up for Sept. 14, 2022, with a cooperating individual at 8703 Oklahoma 7. A Cadillac Escalade arrived with Cummings in the passenger seat and recording equipment caught her talk about the money exchange for the meth, the warrant affidavit states. The exchange was made by another man of money for over 20 grams of meth, according to the charge.
Through investigation, Cummings identity was revealed, Scott stated. The other man has not been charged as of Tuesday, records indicate.
