APACHE — A Caddo County woman died Sunday night following a pedestrian-car collision in Caddo County.
Tisha Pickard, 45, of Apache, was killed at the scene of the wreck at an intersection on U.S. 281 and a county road 5 miles north of Apache, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Pickard was walking around 7:15 p.m. Sunday when she was struck by a Chevrolet Malibu driven by Charles E. Yeahquo, 72, of Apache, Trooper Tyler Shelby reported. Neither Yeahquo nor his passenger, Tomah E. Yeahquo, 73, were injured.
The roadway was closed to traffic for approximately 3½ hours, Shelby reported.
Pickard’s condition as well as what happened and the cause of the wreck remain under investigation.
