On Saturday, the Lawton Farmers Market Institute will begin the first in a series of spring gardening classes in the Lawton Farmers Market Terry Bell Classroom, 77 SW 4th.
All classes will begin at 9 a.m., are free, and open to the public. The first class in the series is Seed Starting 101.
In addition to the classes, the Gardening Support Group will begin holding weekly Saturday meetings in the classroom at 8 a.m. providing new or experienced gardeners with a chance to discuss, ask questions, and find information on various gardening topics. The group is moderated by Master Gardener Tom Stewart, as well as experienced Lawton Farmers Market gardeners and farmers.
