A 65-year-old Lawton man will serve 15 years in prison after pleading video to child pornography charges.
He will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
Larry Paul Bragg pleaded guilty Tuesday to two separate cases. In one, he accepted guilt for counts of aggravated possession of child porn and violation of an Oklahoma statute via computer, records indicate.
Comanche County Chief District Judge Grant Sheperd sentenced him to serve 25 years with the Department of Corrections with 15 years to serve and the balance suspended.
Lawton police were notified Sept. 14, 2023, by Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) of 14 CyberTipline reports linked to Bragg’s phone that yielded over 250 videos and images in his Verizon Cloud account, according to the probable cause affidavit. Investigators knew of Bragg from a May 2022 arrest stemming from three ICAC CyberTip cases for child pornography, the warrant affidavit states.
Bragg pleaded guilty to the 2022 charge of possession of juvenile porn. Sheperd sentenced him to a 10 year suspended sentence with two years of Department of Corrections supervision. The sentence runs consecutive to the aggravated child porn case.
